Terms of use

The agreement between you and Roll for Wonder, in plain words. The privacy policy and the refund policy are part of it.

Who you're dealing with

Roll for Wonder is provided by Roll for Wonder, Bulevar Mihajla Pupina 89, 11070 Belgrade, Serbia (“we”). Purchases are sold to you by Paddle.com Market Ltd, our reseller and merchant of record, which handles payment, tax, invoices and refunds.

Accounts

You need to be an adult to create an account and to buy anything. Children play through a parent's account, with the parent's permission and under their supervision. You are responsible for what happens in your account and for keeping access to your email safe, because that is how you sign in.

Buying an adventure

When you buy an adventure ($19.99 at launch) you can play it, stop and continue, and start it again from the beginning, for as long as Roll for Wonder exists. It is a licence for your household's personal use, not a sale of the adventure itself.

If we ever close the service, we'll tell you at least 90 days ahead, and you'll be able to save the keepsake books of every adventure you've played.

Monthly access

  • Monthly access costs $29.99 a month at launch and renews automatically each month until you cancel.
  • Each month you can start up to 3 adventures from the library. Starting an adventure counts as one; starting the same one again from the beginning counts again. Unused starts don't carry over.
  • Adventures you've started stay open while your membership is active, including in later months.
  • We email you before every renewal. You can pause or cancel any time; your membership runs to the end of the month you've paid for.
  • After you cancel, your keepsake books stay yours. Unfinished adventures wait for you if you come back, or you can buy one to keep.
  • Fair use: monthly access is for one household's own play. If an account is used far beyond what a family plays, for example shared between households or driven by a program, we'll get in touch before doing anything about it.
  • If the price changes, we'll tell you at least 30 days before your next renewal, and you can cancel before it applies.

The AI storyteller

Each adventure is written by people. The words of each turn are written by an AI storyteller inside the limits the adventure sets, and illustrations are made with AI image tools. We check the storyteller's work automatically and fix what we find, but it can still get things wrong: a name misspelled, a detail that doesn't match. If something seems wrong, use the “something doesn't look right” button or write to us.

The game is fiction. Historical adventures say which parts are invented.

Using the game fairly

Please don't try to get around the game's limits, make it produce content that isn't meant for children, use it to bother other people, copy the adventures or pictures to sell or publish, or overload the service with automated requests. We may suspend an account that does, after warning you where we reasonably can.

What belongs to whom

The adventures, characters, pictures, game and website belong to us or to the people who licensed them to us. Your child's own ideas are theirs. You can save, print and share your keepsake books for personal, non-commercial use.

Limits of our responsibility

We work to keep Roll for Wonder running and the adventures as described, but we can't promise the service will always be available or free of mistakes, and we may change or improve the game over time. If something you paid for doesn't work and we can't fix it, we'll refund it.

As far as the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law doesn't allow us to limit, such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or your statutory rights as a consumer.

Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the law of the country where we are registered, named at the top. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory consumer law of the country where you live, and you can bring a claim in your own courts. If something goes wrong, please write to [email protected] first; most things can be fixed with one email.

When these terms change we'll update the date above, and tell account holders by email before a change that affects them takes effect.
